We finally went to the lake! Ever since we moved to Texas, we have discovered that since there is not a beach nearby, people go to the lake! We have some good friends who have a house on the lake with two boats, two Sea-doos, and lots of tubes and rafts. Each morning we started the day by finding a nice beach spot on the lake and parking one of the boats. The kids could play in the sand and water to their heart's content and took turns "tubing" (being pulled on a tube behind the speed boat!) Our friends also had a water trampoline for the kids to play on. We had lots of food packed and wouldn't head back to the house until dinner time. It was a weekend full of non-stop fun with great friends!
