We finally made it back to California after a whole year! We spent about 2 weeks there and Ed and I went to Seattle (for our anniversary) for 4 of those days. The trip ended up being the perfect balance of fun adventures, relaxing, and visiting friends and family. We stayed at my parents' apartment and enjoyed every minute with them! Many hours were spent playing games with them at the house, swimming in their pool, and going out for meals. The kids stayed with my parents while I flew up to Seattle and met Ed there. We had an amazing time in Seattle exploring the city and the little towns by the water. It was fun to get away and have nothing to concentrate on but each other.
After I returned to Cali, we went to the beach, visited my Grandma Winnie and my friends, Rachel, Ashlee, and Marcee.
When Ed joined us in So Cal, we prepared for the wedding of his dad and Jan. Ed went to a city court to become "deputized" which allowed him to perform the wedding ceremony. The wedding took place in Santa Barbara on the beach. We were so excited to be a part of their special day.
One of our most fun days was spent at Disneyland! The kids were overjoyed to ride all the rides, meet their favorite characters, and experience all the magic. It was a perfect day
