Eddie is playing Modified Coach Pitch baseball this season which means each batter gets to attempt to hit 4 pitches from their coach and if they don't get a hit, they bring out the Tee and let them hit off the Tee. Eddie is having SO much fun. He loves the game of baseball and really enjoys learning from his coaches (Daddy is an assistant coach!). He also has a lot of friends on the team. However, the boys are still learning the meaning of "teamwork." When the other team hits the ball, at least 5 or 6 boys go running after it and sometimes fight over it! The funniest part of the game today was when a player from the other team was running to third base and since the ball was still way outfield, a boy on our team decided to take matters into his own hands and he jump tackled the other boy from behind! The boy from the other team just got right back up, made it to third base, and the game went on. The games are always unpredictable and funny to watch. :)

Waiting his turn to bat
Beginning of his practice swing...
End of his practice swing. Good form, Eddie!
A glance over at Daddy. "Did you see that one, Dad?"
Running to third base!
"I made it to third, Mommy!"
He has his sights set on home plate!
He scored!! Running back to the bench...
In his "ready stance" next to the other team's coach who is pitching the ball.
His team won! High fives all around.
Sophia doesn't really understand the concept of the glove.
But she sure looks cute trying!
Every time I went to take a picture of Eddie, she would jump in front of the camera so that I would take HER picture. I indulged her at the end of the game with a mini-photo shoot.
Doesn't this one look like she is pitching?!
