Splash!

Summer is here! It has been warming up and we have been finding fun ways to cool off. Our backyard is equipped with fun, easy ways to play in the water with a slip 'n slide and a little pool. Our neighborhood has a beautiful shopping area in the middle of the neighborhood by the lake and golf course. The shopping area has lots of waterfalls and a fountain area where the kids can play (For my CA friends, it is just like the fountains at Fashion Island and Spectrum). Soon we will be going to the neighborhood pools as well!

Ready for some fun?

Ready!

Then, let's go!

Eddie trying to make a big splash at the end of his slide.

Sophia could not figure out how to slide. She kept crawling across and getting frustrated that she couldn't do it like Eddie!

Laying on the cement to get warm. Sophia came over to copy Eddie.

We came in for dinner and the kids were cold. Brrr!

Sophia wanted to wear a coat to warm up. :)

Deciding if she is brave enough to run through...

No such deciding necessary for Eddie!

Dance!

Eddie was trying to help Sophia be brave and go up to the water.

Giving Abby hugs.

Anything Eddie does is OK with Abby. :)

Jen-
Your kiddos are adorable. Precious pictures.
The girls love the "sprinkler parks" in Grand Rapids...there are many. I had no idea what they were before we moved here, and I thought it strange that CA with it's year-round warm weather doesn't do them much. You can find the whole neighborhood at them some days! I am glad you have them, too. They are a summer resource, for sure!
