New York!

Last week we took a trip to New York to visit my brother and his family. We spent two nights in Times Square and then 4 nights in Ithaca. The kids loved walking around the big city, taking taxis, the subway, and seeing the sights. We went to the top of the Empire State Building, saw the Museum of Natural History, saw the Statue of Liberty, went shopping, and lots more! We were all exhausted from all the walking, but had a great time.

Then we drove upstate about 4 hours to my brother's house. It was so nice to see them again... it had been way too long! The kids had a blast together! Ed spent a lot of time having tickle fights and building Lego sets with the three older boys. Laura and I had a lot of time to talk and play with Sophia and Nathan. My brother was able to take a day off of work and he took us on 3 hikes to see 3 different waterfalls. We were sad to have to say goodbye and can't wait to see them again soon.

Eddie likes this picture where "the T-Rex is eating my head!"

Inside the butterfly exhibit... These moths were 7 to 8 inches long... much bigger than Eddie's hand!

Sophia liked getting close to the butterflies, but sort of freaked out when they flew near her head, and she did NOT want them to land on her. :)

Sophia fell asleep on Daddy as we were walking

Our view of Times Square and beyond from our hotel room... Awesome!

So fun!! I love all the little glimpses of your whirlwind New York adventure!

And Ithaca is GORGEOUS! Such beautiful shots, and so good to see all those sweet kids' faces. :)

Thanks for sharing, Jen. <3
