Mary

Lesson learned: don't give your child blue candy before taking pictures...

Now her teeth are blue! But she was all ready for her part in the Christmas play!

This was their hand motion for "peace."

The wise men visit

Sophia's preschool puts on a Christmas production each year and this year Sophia was chosen to be Mary! Last year she was a three-year-old and therefore, stood to the side as part of the choir. This year, since she is a big four-year-old, she had a part in the play and recited four lines of narration in the microphone! The production was filled with songs and hand-motions and it was ADORABLE to watch. Sophia loved every minute of being on stage!

Her lines were:
"Each shepherd took a ribbon, put it on, and held it high.
It would remind them that God was with them and would stay nearby.
Remember, God had promised that a Savior would be sent.
When Jesus came to earth, it was a big, big, big event!"
