Waiting for Brother...

We are settling into the back-to-school routine and  one of Sophia's new favorite things to do is pick Eddie up from school. So far, she has adjusted well to having him gone.  She thinks of him often and asks me questions like, "Can Eddie come too?" whenever we back out of the driveway in our car or, "Can I see Eddie when I wake up?" at nap-time.

I have discovered that we need to get into the car pick up line early at Eddie's school otherwise the line gets so long it takes forever to pick him up. So, I pull in, park, and let Sophia crawl into the front seat with me. We talk, sing, dance, and laugh while we wait, excitedly, to see Eddie.
