Snow Breakfast

Much to our surprise, the first evening of Spring brought us freezing temperatures and several inches of snow! The kids were really excited to go out and play in the snow, so after much convincing, Ed and I took out all the snow gear and we bundled up. After we all played in the snow, Sophia asked if she could have a "snow breakfast." So, I found some untouched snow up high on the back fence and put it in a bowl. I added lemon juice and some sugar, stirred it up, and voila! Pure, fresh, frozen lemonade! It was actually REALLY yummy. I even had a bowl of it myself.

Later that day, at naptime, Ed and the kids looked so cute all snuggled up reading a book. Notice that the princess bed belongs to Spider-girl!
