Weekend Fun

I love my little family. When we are together on the weekends, we have amazing fun. It doesn't matter what we do, as long as we are together. Some examples of our favorite things to do are wake up Daddy in the morning, which usually takes awhile and always ends up with snuggling, tickling, and laughing on the bed. Then, we get dressed and go to Starbucks so that Daddy can have his favorite drink and the kids share a special drink treat while we relax in the big comfy chairs. We used to go on to an outdoor shopping center to walk around and see the sights, but it is just WAY too hot these days. We always have fun meals together, whether it is at home or a restaurant. Twice now, we have driven to Fort Worth to see the Water Gardens and have dinner at the famous Joe T. Garcia's Mexican food restaurant. Sometimes we get together with friends for swimming and BBQ and we always enjoy our church morning on Sundays followed by brunch with good friends. Having Daddy home with us just makes us complete. I love watching him dote on them and make them laugh. Playing with Daddy is different than playing with Mommy because he does cool things like wrestling, tickle fighting, and the Spaceship game (throwing them up in the air and catching them).

Whether we do nothing at all or have a jam-packed weekend, we cherish our time together.

Looking at the fish in a pond at the Gaylord Texan Hotel. This hotel is beautiful inside. The atrium in the middle has huge glass roof, so it feels like you are outside. They have a mock Riverwalk with some great restaurants and they always have huge displays of flowers and the kids love the toy train display that runs through tiny towns and cities.
